This blog entry would be updated every time new resources are added to the officially supported list of AWS resources.
Supported Cloud Providers
The AutoMonX Sensor Pack for AWS can auto-discover and monitor resources in the following cloud providers:
Amazon Web Services (AWS)

What is an AWS Resource ?
We define it as any function of AWS cloud available for customers to order and operate in their AWS Organization.
What is there to monitor in an AWS Resource?
Each AWS Resource contains multiple functional capabilities that their performance and activity can be monitored to identify faults, performance and availability issues.
The AutoMonX Sensor Pack for AWS connects via REST API to the AWS API and collects metrics, values and additional information. It reports back to the AWS Sensor application server the gathered data.
Cloud Resources Support Levels
There are several levels of support the AWS Sensor Pack provides to monitoring resources:
Supported Resources: These are AWS resources that their monitoring metrics have been enabled and available to be queried via one the AWS APIs. We have tested them in our labs and they are fully supported.
Resources without official support: Due to AWS dynamic nature, there are many additional AWS resources that can be auto-discovered and monitored out of the box, but have not yet been officially announced as supported.
Resources without metrics: These AWS resources should be supported, but either:
Not Enabled: Their metrics have not been enabled on the AWS Console
No Metrics: These resources don't have any performance metrics (by design by AWS).
In some cases, the Sensor pack for AWS will add these resources only with AWS Service Health sensor (if enabled)
Un-supported Resources: These AWS resources don't support the regular AWS API access and are not currently covered by the Sensor Pack for AWS
