Usually, a license is invalid because the probe host name or IP address are different than the ones we received. If it's an evaluation license, once the evaluation ends the license is no longer valid.
In case your license is invalid please use our LicDetailsLocator.exe utility on the PRTG probe and send us the output. We will provide you with an evaluation license promptly.
In order to use the LicDetailLocator.exe utility follow these steps:
1. Go to the sensor files.
2. Open the Common subdirectory inside the AutoMonX folder.
3. Run the LicDetailsLocator.exe utility.
The LicDetailsLocator.exe will create a new text file: machineDetalis.txt
The machineDetails.txt should look like this:
